Every once in a while a play comes along and knocks you off your feet, Mother Lear is such a play. It is an adaptation of King Lear by Ava Roy and Courtney Walsh and delves into the world of dementia and aging.
In contrast to most plays, this one can be staged anywhere. I filmed the video below on a hillside in San Anselmo but it can just as easily be presented in a theatre. Ava Roy is the force behind We Players and she is also one of the two actors in the production.
